Are you sure about the dot thingy in front of the @reply – I have not heard that before? THe more I think about it, I don't think thats correct. Reason is – I get RT's all the time from people not following me.

I know what you mean re: bookmarking. This might not be useful to you, but working in IT I change computers pretty frequently, so I use http://www.delicious.com to not only bookmark sites I'm interested in (I'm a habitual bookmarker) and organise them to find them easily as well, from any computer.
