What this is all about
I get pretty excited about helping other people Be Awesome Online. What I’ve discovered is that a lot of you get pretty excited about that too, and have been (very kindly!) spreading the word about my website and my services. I realized I needed a way to say thanks and share some of the awesome back to the people who were spreading the word. And just like that, the Ambassadors of Awesome affiliate program was created!
Getting signed up as an Ambassador of Awesome
There are two steps to getting signed up. First, you’ll need to get signed up on the Ambassador of Awesome list. Second, you’ll need to get signed up with E-Junkie. Don’t worry–I’ll walk you through doing both. Details are below.
Step One: Getting on the Ambassadors of Awesome list
The purpose of this list is to give me a way of connecting with you and keeping you updated on things like new products or services that you might want to tell your people about, or giving you updates on the affiliate program if anything ever changes. As always, I promise to guard your email address, keep it safe, and never ever use it for anything spammy. Here’s the form you use to get signed up:

Step Two: Signing up with E-Junkie
1. You sign up to be an Affiliate at E-Junkie by clicking here. Use the “Login” section on that page if you’ve previously set up an account with E-Junkie. Use the “Register” section if you haven’t. (It’s totally free to have an affiliate account with E-Junkie.)
2. Once you’re signed up, you can use your unique affiliate link (and I’ll tell you how to get that below) whenever you mention my site in emails or blog posts. E-Junkie keeps track of the people who visit my site from your link so that you get some money when those people buy any of my stuff. It’s my way of saying, “Hey, thanks for sending that person my way!”
Locating & using your unique affiliate link
1. Make sure you’re signed up through E-Junkie (see above).
2. Sign in to your E-Junkie account. Then click here to access the Affiliates section of your account.
3. You should see a menu that says “Manage Your Affiliate Account.” In that menu, click Get Affiliate Code.
4. Click on the dropdown menu and choose Awesome Industries. Then click the Get Affiliate Code button.
5. You’ll see a yellow box with red text in it. Just copy the link from that box and paste it into your email or post. That link will direct people to my site’s homepage. But the link will also “remember” that person, so if he or she buys something from one of the pages on my site (or even if they go away and come back to the site later and buy something then), you’ll still get credit for that sale.
6. If you want to get a link that directs people to a specific product, you can do that too. On that same page, you’ll see a drop-down menu with the title “Get Product Specific Affiliate Links.” You can use the drop-down menu to select a specific product, and then click the Get Affiliate Code button. You’ll be taken to a new page with a new yellow box with red text in it. The link in that box will go to that specific product.
The money: how much and how often
How Much
In general, you receive 50% of the price of the product. However, for some products, that amount might be different (it might be 20%, or it might be a flat dollar amount). You’ll be able to see the commission for that specific product when you use the “Get Product Specific Affiliate Links” drop-down menu, described above. When you choose a product from that menu and click the Get Affiliate Code button, the next screen you see will show you the current price and the affiliate share for that product. Nifty!
How Often
Next, how often: I’ll send out your commission payment once each month, sometime around the 1st or 2nd week of the following month. You’ll get paid via PayPal.
