Hey, have you heard the news?
I have a new website! It's called Cash and Joy and its mission is to increase the awesomeness of the world - of course - through glorious and meaningful marketing.

Why did I focus on marketing? Because marketing can be the most fun and meaningful activity of your business instead of the most dreaded and icky... if you do it right.

Monday Mischief

It’s Monday and I do NOT have Friday on my mind, because I like my job. Even if it does keep me awake a lot with to-do lists.

Really really important:

I did a 10km (that’s 6.2 miles for people on wacky measurement systems) walk yesterday in the Bridge to Brisbane with my friend Troy, who reads this and so I can say anything about how he scorned the athletic-wear trend and turned up in a light button-up shirt and nice shorts like we were going to the regatta and it amused me immensely. While I won’t know my exact finish time until I go to the newsagent and buy the Super! Special! Edition! of the paper that sponsors the run, our best estimate is 1 hour and 43 minutes. My goal was under 2 hours, so I am pretty damn happy with myself.

Oh, and I launched some product thingy, too.

This week’s blast from the past:

How to crazify yourself out of an ideas rut.

Links because I care:

Hangover Owls hurts my brain with its awesomeness.

Oh, and care of Marissa here is an actually useful thingy: a tool to make internet text readable.

Australianism of the week:

She’ll be apples, mate.

It means, “Don’t worry, it’ll all work out somehow.” and it’s used any time someone’s stressing about an outcome.

Why apples? I have no idea. :)
