Do you want to grow an awesome website?
Hi! I'm a drawing of Catherine. She does most of the writing here, including this blurb. (Does this count as writing in the third person?) Catherine believes that websites don't really run on technology, they run on emotions. If you agree, then she wants to help you rock it out and be awesome online.

All the work you do benefits someone:

1. Your customer
2. You
3. Both of you
4. Neither of you

Think about the five tasks you spend most of your time on. What category are they in?

Mostly 1 is bad. You’ll go broke, financially and emotionally, if you’re not getting any benefit from your work.
Mostly 2 is bad. Your customers will leave and again you’ll go broke.
Mostly 3 is fantastic! Healthy businesses and happy work is here.
Mostly 4 sucks ass. How can you reconfigure your work so that it benefits you and your customer?

So what’s the measure of your top tasks? Tell us in the comments!

I have to say that lately, I've been at #1 for the most part, which is bad. Good in that I get paid, but bad that my heart isn't in it. It's a quick path to burnout. My hope is gradually shift all my work to #4! That's why I've changed things around a bit, redesigned my site, and will start blogging!

Excellent choice! I'm so glad you recognise the need to look after yourself as much as your customer. Let us know how the improved business model goes!
